Fall break is the week for Duncan Public Schools. Fall break is finally the first break that the students and staff members get. Fall break is a week to get a break after the first 9 weeks of school.
Lyric Martian, an 8th-grade student, speaks about his emotions around fall break. He has said that he loves fall break, and he is happy that he can spend time with family and friends without school. Martian said, “ Yes I do have plans and I am going to Texas to see my mom, and some other family.” Lyric Martian that fall break should be longer because it is a time to spend time with family and to have that break that everyone needs from the school.
Another 8th-grade student, Sebastian Morones reveals his affection toward fall break. Morones said, “ yes I do have plans and I am going to New Mexico to go see my cousins redo their vowels, and to hang out with family.” Sebastian Morones said he loves fall break then he could sleep in and not go to school. He believes that fall break should be shorter because it’s the first break and should be like two weeks long.
Alexandra Stewart, one of the office staff members. She says that she is very excited about a break from work and to just rest for a week and chill. Stewart said that she doesn’t have any plans this fall break probably just sleeps in most of the time. Alexandra Stewart said “ fall break shouldn’t belong in my opinion because if it is we wouldn’t want to come back and it would be a struggle for most of us.”
Fall break is coming fast and Duncan School cannot wait till it is here. A great time to get away from school and work and spend time with family. Kids and staff are going on vacation or just staying at home and relaxing.
