On March 10th the Duncan Demon track and field team will have their first meet against multiple schools. Before the meet three people on the track team were interviewed. The first person who was interviewed was Eric Hernandez.
Eric thinks his events are 100 meter dash, 200 meter dash, 400 meter dash, and 400 meter relay because he has been practicing for them. His prediction for the first meet is according to what he said “I feel like i’m going to get 3rd to 1st place in the first meet.” He thinks that his team is decent and there are just a few fast kids.
The second person who was interviewed was Marshall Harris. Marshal does not know his events but wants to do the 100 meter dash and that is the only thing he knows what he wants. His prediction of the meet is that he will probably get second. And his thoughts of his team this year is that they are good.
Last but not least the third person to be interviewed was Kahlen Wininger. Her events are Hurdles and relays. She thinks she will probably do good in the meet because last year she did very well on all her meets. But since she was out for a week of practice due to injury she is not sure what is going to happen. Since last year she said “ I’ve progressed since last year , gotten taller, and have gotten faster.”
