I don’t know about you, but having nostalgia for certain things sometimes gets me to question “Did anybody else do that too?”, one thing that was recurring when I was little is Bruno Mars’ Doo-Wops and Hooligans album, it played on the radio almost everyday and my family says I loved the album so much they got me the CD, my all-time favorite song on the album is “Just the Way You Are” the reason why that song is so nostalgic not only did it play throughout my head everyday, but in his music video his iconic fedora is the absolute touch for me. This album was released on October fourth of 2010 by Atlantic and Elektra Records, the album has over 2.62 million copies sold in 2017 and in 2020 it had over 15.51 million copies sold, the album consists of varieties of music genres from pop, rhythm, blues, rock, soul, reggae, contemporary R&B, funk rock, and reggae fusion. Doo-Wops and Hooligans producers were The Smeezingtons, Needlz, and Supa Dups. The album also has 12 different songs, which plays out to 35:24 minutes. You can listen to it on Spotify, YouTube Music, Pandora, and Apple Music. You can also buy the album on CD for seven dollars, and on a vinyl record for $19.99 on the Bruno Mars website, or on Amazon. The songs in the album can also be heard in videos on TikTok, where some songs started to trend again. I highly recommend you stream the album and remember how much these songs played on the radio and enjoy it as much as I did!
