Pushing and shoving are becoming a problem for Duncan middle school and this is how some of the students feel. Nolan Moreno says that he thinks it is funny. Nolan was asked if he’s ever been pushed or shoved. Moreno said he has been pushed and shoved, he says he was annoyed but it was funny. He thinks people push and shove because the other people in front of them walk slowly. Nolan was asked if he had ever pushed someone. He says “Yes, because they were walking slowly.” He thinks that it is weird how no one said or did anything about the pushing and shoving issue until the principal got shoved. Moreno says the pushing and shoving have stopped since Mrs. Glasscocks’ speech and thinks that the speech definitely worked. Dani Hilland’skeen is a fellow Duncan Middle school student, Dani thinks pushing and shoving are very dangerous and she absolutely does not encourage it. Dani says she has been pushed and shoved before but she has never pushed or shoved anyone. Dani thinks it’s favoritism that no one said or did anything about pushing and shoving until the principal got pushed and shoved. Dani says that Duncan middle school could fix this problem by just not pushing and shoving. Estrella Nieto is another Duncan Middle school student and thinks it is not right at all to push or shove someone. Estrella says that she has not been pushed or shoved before. Estrella says “I think people push and shove because they’re mean or just don’t like someone.”. Neito thinks that the principal probably got offended when she got pushed and shoved. She was asked what the school could do to prevent pushing and shoving. She thinks that if the teachers watch more they could get rid of the pushing and shoving problem.
