Duncan Middle School eighth-graders are coming off their first football win and getting ready for their second game today.
The Demons won the first home game, which was Sept. 6 against the Wichita Falls Eagles. The score was 34-6.
Jason Vargas said “I think my team worked really hard and did really good.”
The eighth-grade football team is facing off Elgin at 6:30 p.m. today at the Halliburton Football Stadium. Vargas said he feels confident that the Duncan Demons will win.
He said there isn’t one player who stands out above the others because they work well as a team.
“We are all good,” Vargas said.
