I have a very busy life.
I’m involved in a lot of clubs and sports, and sometimes it take planning to get it all done.
I’m in eight clubs, two sports, Education Station and Math Counts. “What are these things?” you might be asking. Well, here’s a little about them.
Green Club helps with the school garden. History Club, a new club at DMS, is where students go if they want to learn some things about history that you might not learn in a classroom. Science Club gets into good science, and we do science fairs and CO2 car races.
This year, I am in track and cross-country. If you don’t know what they are, you run in cross country and track. Although in track, you can also be a thrower, hurdler, high jump or pole volt.
Aside from clubs and sports, I’m in STEM, honors math, and two honors journalism classes: yearbook and newspaper, the class I’m writing this story for.
After school, I sometimes ride the bus home, and I don’t get home until close to 4 p.m. or later. After that, I work on homework. I take a shower because of sports. Then I eat, go to bed and then wake up at 5:30 a.m., when I wake my brother up at 6 p.m.
We get on the bus at 6:30 a.m. to get to school by 7:15 a.m. If there’s a club meeting, it usually starts at 7:30 a.m. and last for about 20 minutes.
From there, my day consists of classes, starting with STEM, followed by newspaper, English, history, honors math, lunch, yearbook and then my sport. Some days, I have a club after school.
Then I rinse and repeat.
