After the first week of school ended, students have their own thoughts about how their first day of school had seemed to turn out as well as the week. Students have expressed how they felt and what they thought about doing that may be able to contribute to the Middle School. When students came back to school, they noticed different details that happened when they arrived back. One of the students, Jorell Que, a 7th Grader at Duncan Middle School, noticed that the school board had made changes to the Gym . “I noticed the gym was different with the bleachers, and how it looked different then how it was last year.” Other students, such as new ones, felt nervous about arriving back. Carleigh Nalley, one of the 6th grade students expressed how she felt. “I liked how it was and felt good about it, I was nervous but was confident about it.” Other students may have had the same experience and the same feelings about coming back, but some of the students had felt excited about coming back even though they had different changes and better ideas for those changes. But from others’ perspective, they seemed to have a good first impression for the week.
