NJHS, also known as National Junior Honor Society, has been a club in Duncan Middle School for at least 60 years, making it one of the longest standing clubs in Duncan Middle School.
Blaze Black, the NJHS president. He stated,”One of my favorite things about NJHS is helping the school and community out whenever needed.”Blacks plan for this years NJHS chapter is to“make the school better and have a more positive learning environment for everyone.”
One sponsor for NJHS is Sally Wheeler, Wheeler said,“This year, I am ready for the NJHS officers to be leaders for all the kids in this school.”
Bella Robison is a member of NJHS. When Robison was asked how she would use the NJHS community she stated, “I have always wanted to help people and do more than what is required,” she went on to say, ” I am a hard worker for the NJHS community.” She said,” My favorite part of NJHS is that I enjoy being around others in the community.”
Ruby Miller is the parliamentarian for NJHS, therefore Miller is a part of the NJHS office. She said
” I am a fan of helping people understand difficult things because sometimes these types of things can get complicated so having someone be there for everyone is very important.”
During the NJHS campaign last school year, she decided she would run for office, and in the end of the year, she took the responsibility of being NJHS parliamentarian. she said,
” I want to make the role of parliamentarian more important and popular than the others.”
During the NJHS campaign last year, the reporter was selected to be Delayna Holthous. The NJHS reporter plans to make this year
“A great year!”
for Holthouse’s last year in middle school, She plans to help people understand many things in school. She said “NJHS is one of the good things to do in this middle school, but it’s very important in our school community.”
