“Ghost of Tsushima” is a video game that was released on July 17th, 2020. Be aware that this game is only on PlayStation.
However I recommend you buy the cheapest PlayStation you can find just to play this game.
It follows the journey of Jin Sakai, a samurai trying to protect Tsushima from the first Mongol invasion of Japan. To protect Tsushima he must break his Samurai code and adapt as his enemy does.
The story is emotional and written amazingly, and the combat and the other game mechanics are phenomenal.
The game gives you two approaches. You can either fully embrace the identity the people on the island give you of the Ghost, or you can stay as true to the code as you can and be an honorable samurai. It is not an easy game, but is definitely worth playing for anyone even if they are new to gaming.
The soundtrack in this game is amazing. That’s all I can say about it. It is also very cinematic. The final boss fight of this game feels like you’re in a movie; it’s insane.
This game also features a photo mode. You can press a button on the controller at any point in the game and pause immediately to take a beautiful photo of the environment or of the brutal combat.
If you have not played this game then you should definitely get it; sell your cat if you have to.
