Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan’s latest movie, is an absolute masterpiece of a movie. It beautifully tells the story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, and implies the threat that the nuclear weaponry he created has on our lives to this day. This movie is not like any other I have ever seen, and it gives you no choice but demands it be among your favorites. The effects are amazing, and the fact that Christopher Nolan could do it all without CGI is amazing.
Christopher Nolan worked for Warner Brothers at one point. Some people including myself think that, to get back at him for going to Universal Studios, they released Barbie on the same day. It is most likely that that is why they did it, but it created the internet sensation of Barbenheimer. Unfortunately for Warner Brothers every time there was a new trailer for Barbie, searches for oppenheimer went up. Overall, Barbie did better than Oppenheimer because people do not care as much about a biopic of some guy that created a bomb as they do about a major toy brand that has existed for a very long time. I’m sure barbie was good, but in my opinion Oppenheimer is the best movie released this year and I’m 100% sure that watching Barbie would not change my mind.
