Colby Snider was previously a softball coach for the Duncan Middle School Varsity Softball team, and left to pursue a career in teaching at the college level. Now Snider decided to return to Duncan Middle School and is now teaching 8th grade science at DMS.
He said, “I am glad to be back home and it’s different.” He says his favorite subject is science, “because it’s fun.” He says, “My least favorite thing to do in science is physics, because there is a lot of math that goes with it.”
Adalyn Washington is one of Coach Snider’s students. Washington said, “I like Mr. Snider’s class because he’s funny and he rarely gets mad.” She went on to say, “I think that it is nice that he’s back because he is one of my favorite teachers.” She says, “My favorite thing about Coach Snider is that he always makes sure to explain everything so we know what’s going on and we can all understand what we are learning better and remember what he teaches.”
She also said, “My least favorite thing about coach snider is that he helps everyone, which is a good thing because people need help, but it makes it really hard to get his attention whenever he is helping a student. My favorite thing about his class is that it’s easy and fun, even though my classmates can be annoying.”
Ethen Tyre is another student in Coach Snider’s class. Tyre said, “I like Mr. Snider’s class because we don’t have to do that many notes.” He went on to say, “My favorite thing about the class is that there isn’t too much work.”
Lastly, Brayden Gralla is another student in Coach Snider’s class. Gralla said, “I like the class because the teacher is really funny and he teaches the class well.”
