There are many music types, some better than others but one is always a good choice old rock n’ roll. Artists like AC/DC, Guns and Roses, Queen, Twisted Sisters, Rolling Stones, Badfinger, and more were revolutionary, and still are now in my eyes. Most modern-day rock artists just don’t meet the expectations of their ancestors, and they also don’t hit as hard.
I’m not saying new rock artists aren’t good, it’s just that they don’t hit the same itch as old rock artists do. For example, TNT by AC/DC is just a great song, one of my favorites. I’ve yet to find a modern-day song that hits as hard as TNT.
And most modern rock sounds like heavy metal or stuff like Korn, and I was never the biggest fan of Korn. I want a song that has a good beat to it or gives me a powerful feeling when I listen to it.
This may be because I like relating to things I do and playing electric guitar. And I was introduced to old rock before any other music genre. But that’s just my opinion on modern rock.
