Armored Core VI Fires of Rubicon is a game that is unique in many ways. At the very least it is a game where you fly around in a mech and launch various missiles that, to scale in the real world, would be the size of intercontinental ballistic missiles. You play as C4-621, a mercenary Armored Core pilot. The game begins with you illegally entering the planet Rubicon 3, where you steal a mercenary license and use it to begin working for the corporations. Eventually, you end up fighting the person you stole the mercenary license from and you fight a giant mechanical Ice Worm.
The customization in this game is amazing. You can completely mix and match every part in the game, apply your own color schemes, and use an image editor to create custom decals that can be applied to your mech and be used as your emblem. Even the decals can be placed in custom places on your mech.
Everything in this game is to scale in the game engine. Elden Ring, another game made by FromSoftware, is commonly compared to Armored Core VI. people will import models from Armored Core VI and put them into Elden Ring, which completely dwarfs the terrain. Armored Core VI is massive.
