I had a couple of loose dollars and a headful of boredom. I decided to go into the Mircosoft store to see what was on it. I had found Bioshock 2 on sale for $9.99, so I chose to buy it because I remember playing Bioshock 2 on my uncle’s PS3 but never completing it. So I got it and I was not disappointed. Bioshock 2 is part of the Bioshock series, in Bioshock 2 you play as a Big Daddy. The protectors of the NPCs’ are named little sisters who look like baby zombies. The little sisters collect this chemical which makes people evolve into almost the same people (which is the reason why the names of the bosses are family-related). This chemical is called Adam, which is also addictive in the game. This is the reason why the little sisters need protection from the main enemies, splicers, they are highly aggressive and normally so addicted to Adam that they are extremely deformed by the forced evolution caused by Adam. As the big daddy you play as the little sister you were tasked to protect gets kidnapped by a big sister (a faster and more aggressive version of the big daddies), and after being forced into a hibernation-like state you awake with one goal in mind, find your little sister. You can either do 2 things, harvest the little sisters you find along your journey and gain a lot of Adam, or save them and gain less but gain 3 perks and a couple of gifts from the little sisters along the storyline. And with those mechanics, there are also good, bad, and neutral endings, I won’t spoil the ending in the game here so if you want to play it you go in with an open mind. That’s my opinion on Bioshock 2 after playing through the entire game.
