The Call of Duty Black Ops Zombies Lore stands as very confusing. The game first starts with “World at War” with the zombie map “Nacht Der Untoten”. Black Ops 1 is what we talk about here. Nacht Der Untoten, Shangri La, Kino Der Toten, Moon, Der Riese, Verruckt, Ascension, Call of the Dead and Five. All the maps are playable by Ultimis, the main group of the story, excluding Five. Ultimis features Nikolai Belenski, Edward Richtofen, Takeo Masaki, and Tank Dempsy. Five consists of JFK, Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro, and Robert McNamara.
The story however is tough to follow. The first half of the story follows the group “Ultimis’ ‘. Dr Edward Richtofen is a sadistic scientist working for the Germans. Takeo Masaki is an honorable Japanese soldier being lied to by the Emperor. Nikolai Belenski, a Soviet Soldier, is often intoxicated and has faced the worst. Tank Dempsey, a patriotic American soldier sent by the U.S. as part of a rescue team, ended up in his capture. Richtofen experimented on the 3 since they were sent to Richtofen to be test subjects. Before then Richtofen had worked with teleportation. After experimentation, he would freeze them in cryopods before leaving.
Before Richtofen had frozen the 3 he had found the Elemental Shard, a very important part of the Agarthian Device. Something important to the timeline. It needs 4 souls to charge it. He uses Takeo’s, Nikolai’s, Dempsey’s, and his soul. Unknown to him this would bind them together across all universes.
