Now that DMS is in the 2nd semester, 7th graders get to have a fresh start on their grades.
Conner Brooks, a 7th grader at DMS, says that he thinks the school is pretty cool, and also says his favorite class is math because it’s easy for him. Brooks also thinks that the school’s way of teaching is kinda bad but not the worst for him. He says “I don’t like English because I don’t understand any of the work I’m given or what is being taught in the class.” He also says that his favorite teacher is Ms. Ford because she is very nice to him.
Mason King, a 7th grader at DMS, Mason says he likes school because he thinks the school food is good and has a good flavor to it. He likes how the teachers go into depth with their lessons about core subjects like math, English, and social studies. His easiest class is Journalism with Mr. Miller because he gets to use a camera in the class and the work is easy for him. The hardest class that Mason has is math with Ms. Curry because there are letters in the work and he doesn’t understand them.
Arielle Rodriguez, a 7th-grade student, says that she feels like school is pretty boring but she has fun seeing her friends. Arielle also feels like the teachers could teach better and go way more in-depth with their teaching. And if she could change anything about the school, she would make school start at 9:00 instead of 8:00. She also says that her favorite teacher is Mr. Miller because he’s a funny teacher now and then and he’s also nice to her and the classes she has him in.
Alan Maldonado, a 7th-grade student, says that he likes this school because he “gets a good education at DMS.” Maldonado also says that he likes the food they serve at DMS, his favorite food from the cafeteria is the pizza on Fridays. He also says that he likes and thinks science is a good class because he has his friends in the class and the work is easy for him. He also says that he feels like they teach decently at DMS. Maldonado also says that his favorite teacher is Chuck Wagner, one of the 7th-grade social studies teachers, because he is nice to him and the projects assigned to him are easy and simple.
