Duncan High School hosted a fundraiser for the athletic trainer, Amanda Woods. The fundraiser consisted of a chili cookoff to raise money. Duncan Schools have an athletic director who helps students with injuries and many more for their sports. To be an athletic director for many schools, and sports you have to have lots of equipment to help them out.
The chili cookoff was a fundraiser, so she may get more supplies for the students. Each team can make their chili with their recipe and they vote to see who has the best chili for the contest. It costs $10 to enter, but all the money goes to the athletic director. The coaches from every team also presented the cookoff and were involved in all the fun things they had.
