Duncan Middle School is officially done with Fridays for the remainder of the school year, and only six weeks of school remain.
Student Council officers elected
The Duncan Middle School student body elected next year’s Student Council officers.
The newly elected officers include President Gabriel Hernandez, Vice President Georgia Jeffrey, Secretary Brooklynn Williams, Treasurer Caleb Rodriguez, Historian/Reporter Caroline Leonard and Parliamentarian Jackson Simmons.
Choir launches fundraiser
The choir group has started its latest fundraiser by selling lollipops. Each lollipop is 2 dollars.
State testing starts Tuesday
Sixth and seventh-grade students will test Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Eighth-grade testing will be April 21, 22, 28 and 29.
