In my last column, I talked about “Izzy Willy Nilly” will a promise of a second part. Well, here’s Part Two.
We last talked about her just getting home and her sister wanting more and more attention and Izzy wanting less of it. We also talked about Rosamunde and how they might be getting close to forming a friendship.
OK, so now she is struggling with her English work, specifically “Romeo and Juliet, So she decides to call Rosamunde for help, when Rosamunde called Izzy instead. Once Izzy explained what she was struggling with, Rosamunde told her to make plans for her to come over the Izzy’s house that Saturday.
When Saturday came, Rosamunde sat down with her, and she made it so fun.
“When I did homework with Suzy, she just told me the right answers. Working with Rosamunde was more time consuming thatn working with Suzy, which was alright with me because I had a lot of time. But it was also more fun because she would drit off and talk about what something means,” except from “Izzy Willy Nilly” by Cynthia Voight.
This leads to Rosamunde coming over a lot more. If Izzy needed help with homework, mainly, but sometimes she would come over to play board games with Izzy, too. They ended up being great friends.
At the dinner table during Thanksgiving, Izzy’s dad announced they were getting a pool, but Izzy knew that a pool was expensitve and probably so that should could get her exercise in private.
She ended up going back to school after Thanksgiving Break, and that was all thanks to Rosamunde.
This was definitely my All Time Favorite Book Ever. I also recommend this book for every person on Earth to read.
So now that you are done reading this, go get that book.
And if you made it this far reading my column, go get that book.
Right now.
