Students came together Wednesday morning for FCA with a message of loving all people.
The speakers were Jaycee Santos and Maddie Crimmins, who are both seniors at Duncan High School. Santos is the daughter of Duncan Middle School special education teacher Deanna Santos, and Crimmins has a younger brother in seventh-grade at DMS, Cole Crimmins.
The high school students led the second FCA worship of the school year. In October, Todd Ledford, the FCA leader at the Duncan High School, prayed with the FCA students.
Santos and Crimmins talked about not tearing other people down, regardless of whether that person is liked. Instead, they preached a message of love.
The girls recited several versus, including 1 Peter 4:8, which said, “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”
FCA meets monthly in the wrestling room at Duncan Middle School. The next scheduled meeting is set for 7:15 a.m. Dec. 16.
