Addison O’Donnell is a 8th grade varsity softball player, O’Donnell stated, “ I play left or center in the outfield.” she went on to say i have been playing for 5 good years!” The Duncan Softball girls went to the Tuttle to play a tournament and lost. When asked how she felt about the loss of the tournament. She stated, “ We could’ve played better and communicated more, but the loss just makes space to learn and to get better.” She stated, “ My favorite part about softball is batting.”
Mckenzie Graham is another 8th grade varsity softball player. Graham said “During the game last Saturday, we had a lot of competition with a high level softball team, but we worked hard and never gave up. The team as a whole learned from their mistakes and we are working to get better and stronger as a team!”
Layla Mitchell is another softball player. Mitchell stated, “ I love hitting those softballs!!” She plays shortstop and outfield for the Duncan middle school varsity team. She stated,”I felt excited about the win against Comanche and it shows that we have a great team with great players. It also shows a lot for our sportsmanship at Duncan Middle school!”
Dani Messenger is another softball player, she stated, “ My favorite part of softball is the rides back home when we have away games and win.” She plays third, and can play catcher, and plays some outfield as well for the Duncan middle school varsity team.
Lastly, Shylee Orr is another softball player. Orr stated, “ I love the experience and building up relationships with the other teams that we compete against because they never get mad at a loss against us and they’re still so kind and say Good game!” She plays catcher for the duncan middle school varsity team.
