The school year is drawing to a close, and things are getting busy for students and teachers across Duncan Middle School.
Tennis going to state
Girls and boys tennis teams are heading to state. The boys state competition is scheduled for Tuesday. The girls state competition was rescheduled for Wednesday.
Fifth-grade tours coming
The annual fifth-grade tours are set for Monday, starting at 9 a.m. The tours will begin with a pep rally, featuring the cheer team, band and choir.
Fifth-graders from each of the Duncan elementary schools will be in attendance.
Awards, NJHS induction ceremony scheduled for May 20
The DMS awards assembly and the National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony are coming up May 20. About 140 students are expected to be inducted into NJHS.
