Red Ribbon Week is running through next Friday, and there’s a lot of other things going on at DMS, too.
Red Ribbon Week contests drawing to a close
Deadlines for the Red Ribbon Week essay and poster contests are Tuesday, so those wanting to participate need to get their entries turned in.
Essays, which focus on why the writing chooses to be drug free, can be turned into Derrick Miller in Room 711. One winner from each grade will be selected, and a prize awarded.
The posters will follow the national Red Ribbon Week theme “Life’s a Puzzle; Solve It Drug Free.” Poster entries can be submitted to Nikki Reid in Room 705.

The Halloween Popcorn Grams are for sale in Mr. Miller’s classroom. Order forms can be picked up in the office or Room 711. Popcorn grams are 2 dollars each. Buy one for a friend, a sibling or for yourself. Popcorn will be delivered on Oct. 31.
