The Duncan Middle School softball team is coming to an end soon.
Shylee Orr is a Duncan Middle School softball player. She plays catcher and can mainly play anywhere.Orr said, “I am really sad that our season has to come to an end because I have to go to highschool softball next and I do not feel like I am ready. However I think dressing up as our coach was a good way to end our season, it really just made us happy. I am both excited and sad that this is our last game. I think that we will win, but I am so sad to not be with my team any more. I’m going to miss them so much!”
Dani Messenger is another Duncan Middle School softball player. She plays third base and sometimes outfield. Messenger said, “I’m really sad because it’s my last season, because we love our coach so much and how the team really feels like family”
Kaylee Thomas is again another Duncan Middle School softball player. She plays right outfield. Thomas said, “I think our last game is going to be really good. We are all going to be very excited and we are going to whoop Chickashas butt” She went on to say, “I don’t know how the game is going to turn out, but I think that it’s going to be a close game because we are going to play hard.”
Tenley Robinson is a Duncan Middle School softball player. Robinson plays left outfield and sometimes she will play second base. She said, “I wish that there could have been more games but there are no more for this year.”
Natlie Wilson is a Duncan Middle School softball player. She plays first base. Wilson said, “ I play first base because I am a lefty!” she went on to say, “I’m really sad that this is our last game, i wish that the season was longer, but unfortunately it is not.”
