I think shows are better than movies because once you finish a movie that’s the end. You can’t wait on a sequel or another movie to come out for at least another year.
On the other hand, shows have many seasons and episodes that you can binge till the show finishes. Even better when it’s a popular show, they continue to add episodes. Some examples include “Grey Anatomy” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty” (TSITP).
“Grey’s Anatomy” is one of my favorite shows. It launched in 2005, and became very successful with its crazy amount of seasons, 23 seasons.
“The Summer I Turned Pretty” was also a good launch with releasing new episodes every Wednesday in the summer giving others something to look forward to. It’s soon to possibly have another season coming, but no one knows just yet.
Yes movies are good, but when people watching get left on cliff hangers and can’t get the reaction or scene they want to see. It’s not exactly worth rewatching the movie again because it will always end the same way.
Usually the sequel to a movie takes about a year to come out. It goes popular for just a bit, then everyone waits for another sequel to release, meaning they either get left on a cliff hanger or are just bored for another year straight.
Overall, shows are way better than movies because they are more interesting and you can watch more episodes more frequently.
