I really like newspaper class.
It is really fun, and I love interviewing others.
It is in second hour, and basically, there are four beat groups: Academics, Clubs, General News and Sports. There are four editors, who oversee each group, and two editors in chief. The editors this year are Alaina Baldwin, Lillie Goble, Jackson Millan and me; the editors in chief are Ellie Edwards and Wyatt Patterson.
The teacher is Derrick Miller (Mr. Miller), or as students like to call him Master Miller or Papa Derrick.
Newspaper is a really great class. You get to interview people, which is really love to do. It makes for a fun time in newspaper.
I also like newspaper because there are weekly assignment sheets that help you plan throughout the whole week, which is very helpful to others and helpful for me to keep track of what I’m doing that week. That way, I know what to do during the week.
There are also deadlines, which is helpful for me to know when stuff is due and when I need to get things turned in. I don’t get a zero in the gradebook that way, which could bring down my grade significantly.
