School starts too early.
Students need sleep, and so do the teaches. Instead of starting at 8 a.m., making students wake up at 7 a.m., school should start at 10 a.m.
Like I’ve said, students need rest.
When you get up early, it doesn’t help you get enough sleep. Personally, I like sleeping in better, and I’m going to definitely assume everyone would probably feel the same about that.
What if students get home late because of sports practices, games or even other stuff like gymnastics, dance, tumbling or choir concerts, or even hitting practice? Depending on the time of their activities, they may not get enough sleep.
I feel that people should get eight hours of sleep minimum each night. If you are getting over eight hours of sleep, that’s good. If you don’t get enough sleep, then it can affect how well you do in school, how well you listen and retain things, and how well you’re paying attention.
If you don’t get enough sleep, it can literally impact your overall grades in all of your classes.
If you don’t get enough sleep, you have more of a chance of falling asleep in class, which could get you in trouble, depending on what your teacher things.
That’s why I think school should start later in the day.
