I love New Year’s.
I like it for a lot of reasons, especially because it brings warmer weather and I get a break from school. The only thing I don’t like is that it can snow and also be really cold some days with chilly wind.
Most of the time I enjoy New Years because I get to spend time with my family and my friends when I get back to school and get back to my sports. Practicing isn’t as fun because I’m usually tired but I get to practice over the break. I’ve never really had a New Years tradition, but this New Years I watched the Goonies with my mom.
The best thing about New Years is being able to say corny things like “I haven’t seen you in a year” or other similar things like that.
Most people, like me, enjoy New Years for a lot of different reasons like for celebrating, partying, doing a tradition with their family and friends. New Years is very fun since there are so many different traditions and ways to celebrate with family or friends. I think that being able to celebrate the New Year in so many different ways also adds to the reasons that I like it.
