“The Notebeook” is definitely one of my favorite movies; I absolutely love it.
“The Notebook” is a romantic/comedy that came out in 2004. It stars Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, Gena Rowlands, James Gardner, James Marsden and Joan Allen.
It is about a young couple that gets separated for about seven years because of them going to different colleges and him not having her parents blessings. Their names are Allie and Noah.
Noah sends Allie 365 letters every day for a year, but allies mother, Anna, keeps the letters and hides them from Allie in an attempt to keep them apart.
Years later, when Allie is getting ready to get married to her fiancé, she runs into Noah again. They run off together for a few days before her mom and fiancé find her, and she makes the hard decision to call off the wedding and go back to Noah.
The movie ends in them living together in a nursing home, while he reads her their life story to help her remember despite her dementia.
I watch this all movie all the time, and I really like it. It is really sweet, but it also makes me very sad on most of the parts.
I really recommend this movie to anyone that likes older, romance movies.
