DMS track gets underway

Duncan middle school track team had its first meet just before Spring Break, and many of the team members thought they did well.

Graycie Goble, Bree Qualls, Wyatt Williams, Camden Propest and Chloe Robbins were among the team members who participated in the meet. Qualls placed second and third in throwing, while Goble placed second and third in relays and hurdles.

Williams said he thought the team performed better than expected. Propest and Robbins said they thought the team did well overall.

Williams, Robbins and Goble all run relay, while Goble also does hurdles. Propest and Qualls throw.

During the meet, many of the team members got sun burned and wind burned, which was a result of the high winds on that day. Some of the burns were worse than others.

“I have blisters,” Robbins said, the day following the meet.
