The DMS basketball teams have been hard at work over Christmas break. Gage Ingram, an eighth grade basketball player, Says the practices over break have been tough. Ingram believes he has improved from the practices. When asked if he practiced on his own, shooting guard, Landon Holthaus responded with a yes. Holthaus says he has been going to the Simmons Center a lot.

Seventh-grade point guard, Jackson Poage stated that his team is prepared for their next home game this Thursday. Poage was asked if he practiced over the break and he said he yes, he practiced a lot. When asked what the team could improve on he said making easy baskets.

All DMS basketball teams play against Altus on Thursday the 9th. The Girls will play at home, while the boys play away. The seventh-grade games start around 4:00 and the eighth-grade games will soon follow.
