Baseball Scrimmage Against Marlow Cancelled

With the change in seasons means new sports such as baseball are starting up. Baseball players have been practicing hard for the past week and a half. They have been practicing for their scrimmage against Marlow this week. Unfortunately, the scrimmage has been cancelled. Preston Giles, seventh grade baseball player, says “it sucks that the scrimmage has been cancelled.” Eighth grade baseball player, Avaughnte Jackson, Says he is “kinda sad” about the scrimmage being cancelled.

Giles says he is trying out for 2nd base or even center field. Jackson is trying out for left field. Both baseball players are excited for the regular season games to start. Their first game is on March 9th.
