“The best thing we did was shooting. We put up lots of points that game,’’ Breckyn Root said. ‘’We lacked defense which is what we need to practice. I need to work on staying in my place on offense.”

Seventh-grade Summer Heavener had similar thoughts.

‘’I need to work more on pivoting when I have the ball,’’ Heavener said. “I am glad we got out of our little losing streak we have been in for a whole. I’m glad that we won because it is one of our last games.”

The Lady Demons’ next game will be at home against The Lawton Central Cougars. The game will be at Duncan. The Demons’ last game will be on Thursday. The game will start at four-thirty.

On Monday, The eighth grade Lady demons played Lawton Tomlinson. They won with a score of 40-28 the game was an away game.

Amiya Williams said,” I am prepared for the game and I do feel that we will win. I think the game will be close but we will foreshore win.”

Both seventh and eighth grade won over the Tomlinson wolfs. Their last game is Thursday, and then there’s a tournament. Their season is coming to an end very soon.

Williams said,” I will miss playing basketball, and being with my team. They will be missed, but we will be in the same boat freshman year. Next year we will always be there, and I will get to work on my skills and be better for my team.”

The sixth grader will be on the team next year if there interested. They will have to tryout most likely and practice everyday in order to be a starter.
