‘Drama’ brings relatable moments

Today I am going to talk about a graphic novel called “Drama.”

I think it is a great book. It has tons of comedy, drama and middle school in it.

I like it a lot because the characters are so well drawn, and there are a lot of things in the book that I can relate to.

“Drama” is about a seventh-grader, who is really into theater productions and making scenes for them. She also likes to go to the library to read books about scenes. She doesn’t like to act in the plays though.

She meets twin brothers about a third of the way into the book. Then her best friend and her twin brother friends all create a play. The wins are part of the cast, and she and her best friend create the scenes.

The book is written by Raina Telgemeler, who has also written “Smile,” “Sisters” and “Ghosts.”
