Wrestling is incoming, excitement underway

Wrestling season is on the rise, and I’m here for it.

I have been wrestling for eight years, and this will be my ninth year. I like wrestling, and it’s one of my favorite sports that I do.

I  just got some new shoes, and I really like them. They are called Nike Freaks.

I have almost got first in state, but I came in 2nd place a couple of years ago. I was doing really good at almost all of my other tournaments. I even got 1st at Fire Bird in Wichita Fall, Texas

Last year went well for wrestling, but I got the flu before state, so I only got 6th place. Before that I was ranked number one for the  state tournament. I got second at Panhandle Nationals. I didn’t place at JOC, but I did place 1st or 2nd at almost all the little tournaments like MacArthur, Deer Creek and the Ring of Fire that is held in Duncan.

This year is going to be fun because it’s my first year of wrestling for middle school, and some of the biggest tournaments are Shawnee duals, Chickasha duels and middle school state tournaments.

I’m really excited for this season.
